I was born two months early, weighing less than four pounds on October 20th in the Year of the Rooster. My Family moved to Guadalajara, Mexico in 1971. A year later we settled in Saltillo, Coahuila where my brother and sister were born. My family moved back to Tucson Arizona, USA in 1980
- English is not my first language. I learned English when I was about 14 years old.
- I attended an “all girls” Catholic school in Mexico
- I traveled with “Up With People” for a year when I was 18 years old
- I performed at President George W. Bush’s (Sr., Not Jr.) inauguration in 1988.
- I competed once in 1996 at the Fitness America Pageant in New York City and placed 3RD.
- I like to play with big snakes and tarantulas, but small bugs and spiders give me the creeps!!...ha!ha!ha!
- I swam with the sea turtles in Barbados... What an awesome experience!!
- In 2003 placed 17th at the nationals
